Eco-Friendly Poster Printing
All our posters are printed on 180gsm photo quality paper, using eco-friendly inks to minimise our environmental impact. We do not laminate our posters, so they are fully bio-degradable for safe disposal after use.

One A1 poster or more?
Our poster printing team specialises in small print runs for all standard poster sizes, from A4 to A0, and we also offer large format printing for poster sizes up to 60x40. Unlike many online printing services, we don't insist on a minimum order for your poster printing, so if you want just one A2 poster, we don't mind.

We are also happy to do a combination of sizes for you, so if you want 20 A4 posters for notice boards and a single A1 poster for a display case, just ask for our discount rate for 3 or more posters on

Since Customs Graphics are specialists in large format printing, all our posters are printed in house, so if you order your posters from us, we print them ourselves. Poster Artwork File Formats
We prefer all artwork to be supplied as high-resolution PDF files. PDF's are the industry standard file format for transmitting files for printing, it is however important that you prepare your PDF file in the correct way - see below.

We accept poster artwork as:
Print ready PDF - centered with 5mm bleed and fonts embedded
Quark Xpress – supply fonts and images
Illustrator – fonts converted to outlines
Photoshop – layers flattened, at least 300 dpi, JPEG or Tiff
Indesign - fonts converted to outlines and include all relevant links

Creating print ready PDF files
When creating a PDF in Acrobat Distiller, there are job options which must be set for commercial printing.

• Choose high resolution
• Compression settings for colour and grayscale should be down sampled to 300dpi with "auto compression" set on high
• Bitmapped (monochrome: i.e line art) images should be set at 600dpi
• Font embedding should be set to "embed all fonts."
• Add 5mm of bleed to all edges to allow for trimming
• Use CMYK (not RGB) for colour settings
